JUST IN: Senate sets up committe to investigate corruption allegations in NNPC

The Senate has instituted an Ad-Hoc committee to carry out a thorough investigation into corruption accusations in the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

Senator Aliyu Wammako, has been delegated as the Chairman of the Ad-Hoc committee, Channels Television reported.

The committee is also charged with the responsibility of probing the issues raised in a memo said to be written by the Minister of State for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu.
