Nnamdi Kanu Has Fled To London – Orji Uzor-kalu

Orji Uzor-Kalu, the former governor of Abia State, says Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has fled to the United Kingdom.

Kanu’s whereabouts have remained unknown since soldiers allegedly invaded his hometown in Umuahia, the Abia State capital on September 14.

Buhari is a confused man – Afenifere

A top Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere, has submitted that President Muhammadu Buhari is confused over the issue of Nigeria’s restructuring and the agitation for secession coming from some regions of the country.

President Buhari had during his independence day broadcast, claimed some groups had hijacked the ongoing restructuring debate in the country.

Nigerian Army will launch Operation Crocodile Smile in Ogun State soon

The commander of the 35 Artillery Brigade, Nigeria Army, Alamara, Abeokuta, Basil Adoke, says ‘Operation Crocodile Smiles’ will be launched soon in Ogun State.

Adoke revealed this at Government House in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, in his remarks during the cutting of the 57th Independence Day anniversary cake.

IPOB threatens to sue Orji Kalu, Buratai over Nnamdi Kanu’s disappearance

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has threatened to sue former Abia State Governor, Orji Kalu alongside the Chief Army Staff, Lt Gen Tukur Buratai over the disappearance of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

The Biafran agitators  said its decision to drag both men to court was for them to disclose what they know “about the whereabouts of Nnamdi Kanu.”

Zoo keeper killed by Lion in Ibadan

Hamzat Oyekunle one of the zoo attendants at Agodi Garden, Ibadan, Oyo State has died from injuries he sustained from an attack by one of the lions at the zoo.

In a statement issued in Ibadan by Yinka Fatoki, Executive Secretary, Bureau of Investment Promotion, (BIP) Oyo State Government has ordered the immediate closure of Agodi Zoo over Oyekunle’s death.
