Biafra: IPOB Declares Turkish Citizen As Its Rep In Middle East, Asia

Despite the Federal Government’s proscription of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), the secessionist group has announced Turkish citizen, Mr. Abdulkadir Erkahraman as its official representative on international relations in the Middle East and Asia.

IPOB described Erkahraman, who is the President of International Nations Commercial Association based in Turkey, as an adviser to its head, Nnamdi Kanu.

ACP, family members, others kidnapped by gunmen

An Assistant Commissioner of Police, Emmanuel Adeniyi and three of his family members have been kidnapped by gunmen terrorising Birnin-Gwari-Funtua Road, Kaduna State.

Naija News gathered that Adeniyi, who is the Officer-in-Charge of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Zamfara State Police Command and his family were travelling back to Zamfara from Kaduna on Wednesday when the gunmen waylaid their Toyota Hilux and dragged them down from the vehicle.

Another Catholic priest abducted in Edo

Another priest of the Catholic Diocese of Auchi, Edo State, Rev. Fr. Lawrence Adorolo, has been abducted by some suspected kidnappers.

Naija News gathered that the Catholic Bishop of Auchi Diocese, Most Rev. Gabriel Dunia, said the priest was kidnapped along the Auchi-Okpella highway on Wednesday evening.

I am destined to become Nigerian President – Fayose

Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has claimed that God destined him to lead Nigeria. Fayose, said this on Thursday in Abuja at his declaration to be the flagbearer of his party, People’s Democratic Party in 2019.

He said he is the best candidate of the party having defeated two incumbent governors in his state, and he promised to fight corruption if elected.

EFCC arraigns INEC officials for collecting N362m bribe from Diezani

Two officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, have been arraigned before the Adamawa State High Court by the Gombe zonal office of EFCC for collecting N362m bribe from a former minister of petroleum, Diezani Allison-Madueke to alter the outcome of the 2015 presidential election.

Naija News gathered that the two- Ibrahim Muhammed Umar and Sahabo Iya Hamman, both serving and retired staff of the , INEC, appeared before Justice Nathan Musa.
