-Gov Fayose says he has been destined to lead Nigerians.
-He plans to vie for the seat of the president in the 2019 election.

Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has claimed that God destined him to lead Nigeria.

Fayose, said this on Thursday in Abuja at his declaration to be the flagbearer of his party, People’s Democratic Party in 2019.

He said he is the best candidate of the party having defeated two incumbent governors in his state, and he promised to fight corruption if elected.

He also boasted that he is the most experienced governor having served under three Presidents.

“By the grace of God, I am the longest-serving governor in Nigeria today, having served under three Presidents – Obasanjo, Jonathan, and now Buhari,” Fayose said.

Naija News had reported that PDP warned Fayose against going against the party’s zoning formula by declaring his intention to be the party’s presidential candidate in 2019.
