Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu’s sureties to be imprisoned if he fails to appear in court
Following the verdict by the Federal High Court in Abuja granting Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, bail on April 25, the federal government has said sureties of Kanu will face imprisonment if he fails to appear in court on the adjourned date.
Naija News gathered that Senator representing Abia South Senatorial District, Enyinnaya Abaribe, signed the bond for release of the Nnamdi Kanu.

APC slams Sagay, labels him a rogue Elephant
The All Progressives Congress(APC) has slammed the chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee on Anti-corruption (PACAC), Professor Itse Sagay over his statement in a recent newspaper interview in which he accused the party’s leaders of being a bunch of unprincipled people, encouraging and accepting rogues into the party.
In response to the interview, APC in a press release by its national publicity secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdulahi, has now reacted to the allegations, condemning the accusations credited to the PACAC chairman.

IGP orders immediate removal of road blocks nationwide
The Inspector General of Police,Ibrahim Idris, has ordered all roadblocks on highways nationwide to be removed immediately.
The police chief also directed all personnel who may be involved in highway patrol to always wear uniforms, a bold name tag, and service number.

Busted Importers of Pump-Action Rifle Import Adopt Plea Bargain
Two out of the five Nigerians who allegedly imported661 pump-action rifles into the country unlawfully intends to enter into a plea bargain with the prosecution.
The five defendants were arraigned by the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) on June 14 before the Federal High Court in Lagos.

Gunmen attack palace as Olubadan installs Baales, Mogajis
Unknown gunmen fired gunshots at the palace of the Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Adetunji, during the installation of Mogajis and Baales on Monday.
A former Secretary to the Oyo State Government, and chieftain of Labour Party, Sharafadeen Alli along with journalists were part of individuals who fled the scene of the shooting alive.
