The home based Super Eagles of Nigeria will on Sunday, 24th September, face their Ghanaian counterparts in the finals of the 2017 West African Football Union (WAFU) tournament.

Ghana stayed on course to defend their WAFU cup title after an improved performance gave the Black Stars an impressive win over Niger in the semi-final on Thursday night.

Ghana defeated Niger 2-0 courtesy a goal in each half from Berekum Chelsea striker Stephen Sarfo and Kwame Kizito of Hearts of Oak.
