Osinbajo and Sheriff hold closed door meeting

-Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and Alh. Ali Modu Sheriff meet at the Aso Villa in Abuja.

Former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairman and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, today, held a private meeting at the presidential villa in Abuja.

Sheriff had to wait a while upon arrival as the Vice President was presiding over the economic management meeting when he arrived at the Villa.

APC chairman, Chief John Oyegun, was also in attendance at the meeting between the Vice President and the former Borno state Governor.

The PDP stalwart refused to speak with reporters at the end of the meeting which lasted for less than one hour neither has the media team of the Vice President issued any statement on the meeting as at the time of filing this report.

Sheriff, is an ex-governor of Borno state, a former senator, as well as one of the founders of the APC before he later defected to the PDP.

Recall a supreme court judgement, sacked Ali Modu Sheriff as the PDP chairman and replaced him with Ahmed Makarfi to bring an end to the leadership tussle between the two leaders.
