Driver arraigned for stealing $80,000 from boss
A 35-year-old man, Onyemechi Nwogele, was arraigned before a Lagos State Magistrate’s Court sitting in Ikeja, for allegedly stealing $80,000 from his boss.
Naija News gathered that Nwogele, was victim’s driver and native of Ebonyi State, was also accused of stealing property worth N280,000 on August 7, 2017, on Omo Egbohulu Street Ikeja, Lagos.
Nwogele was arraigned on two counts bordering on conspiracy and stealing, which he pleaded not guilty to.

According to the police prosecutor, Inspector Simeon Imhonwa, the offences a contravened sections 409 and 171 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.
He said Nwogele and others who are still at large, gained entry to the house through a fence and stole $80,000 from the victim.
Imohonwa added that other items, such as one iPad, a blackberry, a Microsoft Lumia and a Samsung Galaxy, were stolen from the victim.
The presiding Magistrate, Mrs. B.O. Osunsanmi, granted the accused bail in the sum of N200,000, with two reputable sureties each in like sum and adjourned till November 2, 2017 for further hearing.
