2019 Elections: APC to tour South-South States, campaign for President Buhari

The All Progressives Congress has begun touring states in the South-South geopolitical zone to solicit support for the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government and the party ahead of the 2019 general elections.
The Zonal Publicity Secretary of the APC, Mr. Martins Mukoro, in a statement disclosed that the party’s tour would also enable it to reconcile with all aggrieved members in the various state chapters to enhance the party’s unity for 2019.
The visits would be led by its National Vice-Chairman (South-South), Mr. Hilliard Eta, to Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta and Edo states.
The statement also explained that the tour which would start this week is scheduled to end on September 30th. It added that the party would strategise and mobilise its members for total victory particularly in the zone.
Mukoro added, “In furtherance of efforts to re-invigorate the state chapters of the party in the South-South geopolitical zone, the Zonal Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress party led by the National Vice Chairman who doubles as the zonal chairman, Hilliard Eta, will embark on a tour of the South-South states.”
