APC warned President Buhari not to appoint Alhassan -El-Rufai

Kaduna State Governor, Nasir el-Rufai says the leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) cautioned President Muhammadu Buhari against appointing Aisha Alhassan as a minister.

El-Rufai condemned the Minister of Women Affairs for betraying the President.

He further accused her of never being a Buhari supporter but a loyalist of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar.

The governor expressed his criticism of Alhassan, while speaking with State House Correspondents at the Villa on Friday.

El-Rufai also claimed that Alhassan did not vote for Buhari during the APC presidential primary.
He enjoined Nigerians not to be shocked at her remarks.

El-Rufai added that the minister’s retention or dismissal as a cabinet minister should be at the discretion of the President.
