Professional bodies collaborate to improve finance sector standards

The Chartered Institute of Taxation in partnership with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants have signed an agreement that will assist in developing the accountancy and tax profession in Nigeria.
The two firms signed a memorandum of understanding that will ensure the promotion of the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.

The two leading companies also signed the agreement, conceding to co-operate in trainings, education and research findings.

The organisations are set to explore other viable areas where co-operation would be beneficial to all members and the economy as a whole.
