UNILORIN sets JAMB cut off mark, releases post UTME guidelines

The University of Ilorin, has released details of JAMB cut off marks as well as post UTME screening guidelines for candidates seeking admission into the institution for the 2017/2018 admission exercise.

A press release on the institution’s official Facebook page, reveals a minimum cut off mark of 180 was chosen by the University and candidates are advised to adhere strictly to instructions and guidelines as released.

Registration is expected to close by Friday, 8th of September, 2017.

The University of Ilorin, Ilorin wishes to invite only candidates who have scored the minimum of 180 and above in the recently conducted Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME). The minimum cut off for ranges between 180-250 and no cut-off mark was officially released. Aspirants can only apply for courses made available to them in the process of registration/or register directly if not asked to apply for a change of course.

REGISTRATION
Candidates are advised to enter their details carefully and accurate.
Registration Opens on 28th August till 8th of September, 2017.

POST UTME VENUE
Candidates can only pick either Ilorin or Lagos, as venue for their examination.

SCHEDULE
Candidates are advised to be punctual to examination venue, on the day of their examination, which is scheduled on their registration slips.
Also, aspirants are advised to take their registration, schedule and payment slip, to examination venue, for clearance.

DRESS CODE
Candidates are advised to dress decently to the venue of examination, else, they will be deprived entrance to the University as this is well upheld by the Management.

EXAMINATION PREPARATION
The Examination will be Computer Based Test. This means that candidates has chances of answering the same questions your friends answered or may not. Questions will come randomly, so be wise and be prepared. Aspirants are advised to read all subjects, giving preference to English Language. Candidates are advised not to get involved in any form of examination malpractices, as the University will not condone such. All Candidates are expected to dress to conform with the University dress code which has been made available to candidates on the University website.

RESULT
Results of screening, will be sent to candidates, who took part in the examination via, SMS and Email. Aspirants can also check the school portal for their results.

ADMISSION
Aspirants are advised to check the school portal from time to time, for their admission status, if they met the cutoff mark required, for both UTME and P-UTME, in the course of their choice.
Aspirants should note that, the University’s admission would be based on Merit and there will be no room for back door admission. Please, be guided accordingly.
