Nigerian celebrities rally help for Benue flood victims

Following the heavy rainfall which started on the night of Saturday 26th August, and left many houses flooded and families rendered homeless in Makurdi, Benue State capital, several individuals have expressed solidarity with those affected.

Not to be left out, many Nigerians celebrities have taken to social media to show their support as well as attract rescue and relief efforts for those affected in order to complement government efforts.

They include Tuface Idibia (2baba), Zaaky Azzay, Blackface, Seyi Shay, Rita Dominic, and Nikki Laoye.

U can do whatever u can 2 help. Food. Blankets. Mattresses. Stoves. Water. Multivitamins. Plates. Etc. U can drop them off at Rumors Ikeja, festac or Vi or at the red cross office in yaba. God bless u as u help your fellow nigerians

It was gathered that the heavy down pour started around 11:56 pm on Saturday and lasted till 4.08am Sunday morning. The worst hit areas are Zone 4, Atusa, Nyiman, some areas of Wadatta, Gana all in the capital city of Makurdi.
