9ice postpones album release; drops 2 new singles

Veteran Nigerian singer, Alexander Abolore Adegbola Adigun Alapomeji Ajifolajifaola popularly known as 9ice, has apologized to his fans for postponing his expected album launch.

The singer, revealed the postponing of the album in a chat with HipTV on Thursday.

9ice said: “Like I said earlier on, it is going to drop this year. But we are postponing it to next year March- Easter period.”

To appease his fans’ anger, the singer has released two singles “Basiri Mi” and “Allow” in lieu of the album.

The songs, which were released across all local and international digital platforms by Temple Music, is the singer’s first release under the new record label.

Tonywhy produced “Basiri mi”, while “Allow” was produced by Olumix.

Meanwhile, the Veteran singer has finally spoken about the ban of his song, ‘Living Things’ by the National Broadcasting Commission last week.

He said NBC should be ready as he has even more songs for them to ban.

“After the ban there was another letter that the song was not banned. But I am thanking the NBC for the ban, because after the ban the song go blow so NBC I am releasing more songs soon that you guys will have to ban” he said.
