Ooni of Ife reacts to marriage crash with Olori Wuraola

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has said his official reaction to his crashed marriage to former Olori Wuraola will soon be made public.

The Director of Media and Public Affairs to the Ooni, Comrade Moses Olafare,Speaking in a telephone chat with the Nigerian Tribune,said that:

“In this era of social media, where people have free access to internet, as constitutionally permitted by laws of the land, people can say anything.”

“Inspite of all being said on the issue, decorum still requires that we in the House of Oduduwa maintains silence, at least for now.

“This is because marriage is strictly a private matter that should not subjected to undue public uproar. When it is necessary for us to talk, we will surely talk on the issue,” Olafare said.

Recall that Olori Wuraola, had in a statement released on her Instagram page, confirmed the royal marriage between her and the Ooni is over while also putting it on record that the crash was not because of her own infidelity.

The royal marriage between Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye and former Olori Wuraola lasted for just about 17 months.
