Dino Melaye is a clown – Lai Mohammed

Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, on Tuesday described lawmaker representing Kogi West at the National Assembly, Senator Dino Melaye as a “clown.”

The minister’s remark was accompanied by some photographs of the outspoken and controversial Senator at the Notting hill carnival in London.

The Kogi State born lawmaker was yesterday pictured at the Nigerian corner of the Nottinghill carnival in London where he was said to have performed his hit track, Ajekun Iya, but was booed off stage by members of the audience.

Reacting to Melaye’s activities at the carnival, the Minister, in a post on his twitter handle wrote: “Just look at this clown; Senator Dino Melaye at the Notting Hill carnival in London, performing his favourite song, “Ajekun Iya”.
