ASUU is urged to embrace IPPIS by FG.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has taken over the leadership of the Federal Government negotiation team with the striking members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU.

The Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige, made this disclosure while briefing State House correspondents after  Wednesday’s Federal Executive Council, FEC meeting.

Recall that the minister had earlier stated some of the demands of the striking ASUU would require approval from the federal executive council if they are to be met.

With this new development, it is expected that the resolution of the lingering ASUU strike will come faster as the strike is now well into its second week, grounding academic activities across several Universities in the country.
