The University of Ilorin is the fastest university in Nigeria and the first choice of most JAMB applicants. Unilorin is the most selected university in Nigeria considering the fact that they do not go on strike. If you have selected University of Ilorin for 2017/18 it is very important for you to check the mode of application and Unilorin cut off mark 2017/18.

Unilorin Admission

Every JAMB applicant that wants to apply to the University of Ilorin need to know the method of the admission to the said University will be different. Two factors that will be taken into consideration in order to determine the candidates:

The O level result

The O level result carries 50 marks. You need to remember that each grade has different marks. For example:

A may carry 8 marks;
B may carry 5 or 4 marks;
C may carry 2 marks.
As you can see, having too many C”s will be a significant disadvantage. On the other hand, with enough A’s you will get higher marks and have more chances to be accepted.

So the higher the better. You need to be way above the cut off mark to be on the safe side.

Unilorin cut off marks for the courses for 2017/2018 have not been released yet, but we can make predictions based on the previous year. Usually, they don’t change much, so it will be useful to know in order to predict your results and know if you are safe.
