On Air Personality, Toke Makinwa lands major acting debut in Nollywood

The On Air personality, Toke Makinwa has announced her major film debut in nollywood on the social media, explaining that “It’s not Waka pass.”

Toke Makinwa is the author of the book ‘On Becoming” and also known for her weekly relationship vlogs.

Toke took to her Instagram page to announce her major acting debut in nollywood, adding that her role is notable and not an ordinary waka pass role.

However, the title of the Nollywood movie she is starring is yet to be ascertained, as she didn’t disclose the title on her page, but she announced that the filming starts today, August 23, 2017.

Toke made a cameo appearance on “Jenifa Diary,” Funke Akindele’s Tv series in 2015 featuring in a scene with her and Juliana Olayode aka ‘Toyo Baby’.

Toke wrote on Instagram, “So I’m going to be in a movie guys, no be Waka Pass O. I’ve had a few cameos here and there in the past and I have a lot of respect for actor film makers. #Issabigdeal. A major productioncoming your way soon and filming starts tomorrow morning.

“I feel extremely blessed and highly lifted. So overwhelmed with God’s goodness.

“This year has been soooooo busy and fulfilling guys, God has really opened doors for me and my prayer for everyone out there is that God brings you into your season too.

“Don’t give up, don’t lose hope too. You are closer than you know.”
