Man dies in lover’s room

A 45-year-old man slumped and died after having sexual intercourse with his girlfriend in Gwarinpa.

Police disclosed that the incident happened at War College Estate on Sunday.

According to a police source, the deceased visited his girlfriend identified as Bridget at about 10:00a.m. and was preparing to leave after they made love.

The source said the woman, who reported the matter at the police station, said she was in the bathroom when her lover slumped and died.

CSP Nurudeen Sabo, the Gwarinpa Divisional Police Officer,  said the woman was in custody.

He said the body was taken to Asokoro District Hospital for autopsy and that investigation was ongoing.
