Biafra: “Form a Political Party”, Madu dares Nnamdi
-Independent Democrats Party Chairman describes Kanu’s threat against Anambra elections as empty.
The National Chairman of the Independent Democrats (ID), Chief Edozie Madu, has declared that the Indigenous People of Biafra lacks the power to stop any election in the country.
He referrred to IPOB’s threat to disrupt the November 18 election in Anambra State as empty.
The ID leader made the declarartion in Awka, the Anambra State capital, on Tuesday, while inaugurating the party’s women league and a 10-man committee of the party in the state in advance to the governorship election in the state.
He said, “If Nnamdi Kanu of IPOB thinks his movement is popular he should form a political party where he will have all the powers and legitimacy to participate in elections the way he thinks.

“We are fully prepared and ready for the Anambra governorship election. We don’t listen to such talks. We don’t want to be distracted because we are out to win. No party has presence in the 21 local government areas and 326 wards in the state as ID.
Madu enjoined the committees to sensitise and mobilise the people of the state to vote ID in the November 18 poll.
Speaking on the recent Ozubulu killings which occurred on Sunday by am unknown gunman, Madu described the gruesome attack as barbaric and satanic.

He expressed his hope that the President Muhammadu Buhari administration would ensure the perpetrators of such shameful act are brought to book.
The ID stated that the Anambra massacre is a wake-up call to security operatives to work more efficiently at creating a crime-free society.
