Aides of President Muhammadu Buhari have been reported to have  called UK police authorities on a Nigerian man who staged a one-man protest against the President at the Abuja House in London.

In the picture, the man is shown carrying a placard that reads, “Nigerians want full disclosure. What is wrong with our president?”

The police allegedly were unable to arrest him because he was deemed not to have been trespassing.

There have been various protests requesting accountability from President Buhari over the details of his health status.

He left Nigeria on May 7 to resume treatment in London for an undisclosed illness, leaving Acting President Yemi Osinbajo in charge of the country’s affairs.

Notable is the protest in Abuja today, where police officers used tear gas canisters and water cannons to disperse a group of protesters agitating that the President resumes his duties or resign his position.

PULSE reported that one of the protesters was reportedly injured and had to be rushed to a medical center.

President Buhari left Nigeria for London, for the second time this year on the 7th of May 2017, and 92 days after has not returned to office or disclosed the nature of his ailment.

However, 77 days after he left the country, pictures of President Buhari finally surfaced online, supposedly meeting with state governors of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on July 23, at the Abuja House in London.

Ailing President Buhari has since then met with other representatives of the Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF), former president Olusegun Obasanjo, among other prominent people

The wife of the president, Aisha Buhari, also came back yesterday from a visit to her husband in London.

There is yet to be a stipulated date for President Muhammadu Buhari’s return.
