-22-year-old physically-challenged man alongside 30 suspects in Bayelsa
Operatives of the Bayelsa State Police Command have arrested a 22-year-old physically-challenged man among 30 suspects for cultism, robbery and kidnapping in the state.
It was gathered that the physically-challenged man, identified as Prince, according to the Commissioner of Police in the state, Asuquo Amba, was arrested during a bloody rival cult clash at Otuokpoti in Ogbia Local Government Area of the state.
The suspect was allegedly the leader of the notorious Greenlanders cult group in the area. He was arrested alongside five other cult members.

According to Vanguard, Amba, while parading the suspects at the Command’s headquarters in Yenagoa over the weekend, said the police will continue to ensure reduction of crime to the barest minimum, even though police prosecution has been slow as a result of the system of judiciary in the state.
He said “a total of 31 alleged cultists, kidnappers and robbers were arrested within three weeks of a special security operations”.
The Commissioner of Police said nine locally made pistols and a Nissan Bus with number plates A06-05BY belonging to the state Ministry of Education, were recovered during the special operations.

Amba also confirmed the arrest of the suspected killers of a 30-year-old man, Luke Inengite, whose body was dumped in a pond at Agbura community in Ogbia area of the state.
He said, “The suspects also confessed to the murder of a boy at Swali (names unknown), and other heinous crimes within Azikoro community.”
