Abia Police Parades Suspected Criminals

Police parade suspected criminals in Abia State.

Suspects in connection to armed robbery, kidnapping, among other crimes, have been paraded by Abia Police.

The Abia State Police Command has paraded some suspects involved in criminal activities in the state.

The disclosure was made by the Commissioner of Police, Adeleye Oyebade, in an interview with Channels Television in Umuahia.

The suspects were arraigned in connection to armed robbery, cultism, car snatching, and kidnapping.

The CP said the command is committed to continue in its efforts to free the state of criminals particularly kidnappers hinting that the tactics and patrols have been increased to ensure that the kidnapped victims were rescued without payment of ransom.

Recovered items comprise a bus, motorcycles, tyres, plasma televisions, stabilizers, locally made piston, guns, and Nigeria Army uniforms used by the kidnappers.
