Kidnap: Gunmen Abduct Lagos LG clerk, Shamsideen Omotayo

The Clerk of the House, Ikeja Local Government Area, Mr. Shamsideen Omotayo, has been abducted by gunmen in Imota, Ikorodu, Lagos State.

Confirming the incident to the press, Public Relations Officer of  Lagos State Police,  ASP Olarinde Famous-Cole, said details of the abduction are still unclear.

According to the PRO, “Details of the abduction is still sketchy,” he said.

Naija News gathered that abductors ambushed the clerk on his way to work on Wednesday morning.

Meanwhile, there is an alarming increase in the rate of kidnappings across the country, as kidnappers of the six students from Epe axis of Lagos State, yesterday demanded amnesty or they would unleash more treacherous activities.
