Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, has today sworn in two new ministers into the federal cabinet.
They were sworn in Wednesday morning at the council chamber of the Presidential Villa before the commencement of the weekly meeting of the Federal Executive council, FEC.
As earlier reported today by Naija News, following a tweet by Laolu Akande, the Senior Special Assistant-Media and Publicity to the Vice President, both of them have now been expectedly sworn in.
They are Stephen Ocheni from Kogi State who replaces the late labour minister, James Ocholi who died in a car accident in March, 2016, and Suleiman Hassan from Gombe State who replaces former Minister of Environment, Amina Mohammed who resigned to serve as Deputy Secretary-General of United Nations.
Both had earlier been screened and confirmed by the Senate in May and have been waiting to be brought into the federal cabinet.
