The senator representing Kogi West senatorial district, Senator Dino Melaye, has again expressed dissatisfaction with the way and manner Governor Yahaya Bello is piloting the affairs of Kogi state.

Dino who took time to remind the Governor on how fate and chance played out to bring him into power said the position Bello is occupying today is intoxicating him.

The lawmaker who wrote on a social media page, ‘Kogi Central forecast’ (KCF) pointed out that rather than the Governor to use this opportunity towards transforming the lives of the people of kogi, he is busy installing more pains and hardship on the State.

He expressed concerns on the frustration and hard times the state is facing under the current leadership of the state Governor.

The lawmaker also said, “Apparently the position he occupies today is intoxicating him! He has forgotten how fate and chance played out to bring him into that position.

“Rather than use it for the maximum benefit of the people, he has decided to use it to intimidate, maim, impoverish and destroy the people whom he was meant to protect!

” The groan of the people, their agonies, their sufferings are going into the high heavens! The Almighty hears and am sure will not tarry for so long before delivering the people from the power drunk governor Bello.”

Recall that in 2015, Governor Yahaya Bello who was a runner-up at the APC primary election replaced late Prince Abubakar Audu who died before the final outcome of the November 21st 2015 governorship election in Kogi state.

Also, the senator recently secured a court order directing INEC and all other involved parties to suspend the recall process launched by the people of his constituent.

The two leaders have been trading accusations and counter accusations and are locked in a battle for supremacy over the political landscape of Kogi state.
