Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture, has described the death of notable and veteran actor and poet, Adebayo Faleti, as a huge loss to the country’s creative Sector.
The minister said in a statement on Monday in Abuja that Faleti was a pioneer and colossus across many genres whose landmark remains indelible in Nigeria.

The minister said generations of authors, poets, broadcasters and actors owe Faleti a debt of gratitude for his dedication, hard work and love for the country.
He however, commiserated with the family and friends of the deceased, as well as all practitioners in the sector.

Pa Adebayo Faleti died on Sunday in his home in Ibadan at the age of 86.
