FRSC officials rescue man after attempting suicide

A man who was rescued yesterday by the patrol team of FRSC Sagamu Unit Command after he attempted suicide by hanging himself on a tree.

The FRSC officials who where on a routine patrol were informed by an okada rider that an unidentified man was attempting to take his life by hanging on a tree.

The team, led by Assistant Route Commander Igoche, immediately rushed to the scene inside a bush along the Lagos – Ibadan expressway.  He was already unconscious when they got to him.

The FRSC patrol team immediately rushed to bring him down from the tree and administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on him and he regained consciousness.

During the CPR, the police were contacted and they met the FRSC team at the scene while administering the CPR.
