Delta APC Guber Candidate, Omo Age-Agege Announces Running Mate

The Executive Assistant on Communication to Delta State Governor, Dr. Fred Latimore Oghrbesivbe has asserted that the representative of Delta Central Senatorial District, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege is unlikely to return to the senate in 2019 because he was supposeddly blacklisted and rusticated from legal practice in the United States of America, USA, over cases of forgery, documents fraud and perjury among others.

Oghenesivbe disclosed it in a facebook post saying the lawmaker may not return over what he termed “laxk pedigree”, adding that the Senator smuggled his way to the Senate.

He said,” The reason why Senators are referred to as distinguished Nigerians is because of their clean past records, pedigree and transparent honesty”.”As we grow our nascent democracy in Nigeria and deepen the core values of representative government, we shall no longer accommodate questionable characters like Senator Ovie Omo-Agege.”

“He smuggled his ways to the red chambers in 2015 and the good people of Delta Central shall vote out Agege of the Labour-APC Party and bring back their vibrant PDP Senator in the person of Senator Ighoyota Amori”.

Oghenesivbe also condemned the assault on Senator Agege, attributing it to the “mockery stipends” that the Senator was distributing. He advised political officer holders to instead meaningfully impact lives rather than give mere stipends to people.

According to him,” It is sad that Sen. Agege and his handful of blindfolded followers were attacked in the surburb of Uvwie near Warri in Delta State while trying to distribute some miserable items and little stipends not capable of surviving the beneficiaries.”

“Agege attackers may have been provoked by the mockery stipends which is why political office holders and elected representatives in Delta State must emulate the leadership style of the SMART GOVERNOR, His Excellency, Senator Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa by sponsoring skill acquisition programs and provide reasonable financial take off grants that would guarantee genuine and lifetime prosperity for our people.”
