Wizkid Unfollows Drake on Instagram

Wizkid is currently in the news for what seems to be a big surprise to many of his fans, as he recently unfollowed Drake on Instagram.

The “Come Closer” crooner has apparently unfollowed Drake on the social media site Instagram, though it is evident that Drake (@champagnepapi) still follows Wizkid (@wizkidayo).

It has been said that Wizkid and Drake have never been physically acquainted.

Reasons have however been speculated for Wizkid unfollowing the Drake. Such speculation are that the “one dance” crooner has shown little or no support to Wizkid’s plans of penetrating the international music scene in form of appearances in his music videos.

Evidently,  Wizkid did not feature in Drake’s “One Dance, “neither was Drake in Wizkid’s ‘Come closer’ official and unofficial.

Wizkid and Drake are collaborating on new material again.

It has also been rumoured that Drake wanted the ‘Come closer’ song for himself. Drake’s version of  “Come closer” featuring Popcaan  lends credence the speculation.

Wizkid has however not in any way expressed any unhappiness  with  Drake on any social media platform.
