24-Year-Old Lady Murdered On Parent’s Farm

A 24-year-old lady, Bosede Akinlalu have been reportedly killed in her parents’ farm by some unidentified individuals, in Ode Aye in the Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State.

The lady was said to have gone to the farm alongside two men on Friday when the suspected killers attacked them, Punch reported.

According to a source,”When they got to the farm, they met armed men. On sighting them, Akinlalu and her companions fled, but they were chased by the gunmen. While the two men escaped, the lady was unlucky as she was attacked and killed”.

The source added that, “When the men got home and reported what happened to them, some youths were mobilised to the farm, where they saw the lifeless body of Akinlalu with machete cuts on her body”.

Confirming the murder, the Public Relations Officer of the Ondo State Police Command, Mr. Femi Joseph said the command had begun investigation on the matter.

According to Joseph, “We have not made any arrest yet, but investigation has commenced; we will definitely get the killers.”

He advised residents of the state to always be security conscious.
