Breaking: School Vice Principal Shot Dead In Akwa Ibom

The vice principal of a community school in Nkek village, Ukanafun Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State has been shot dead.

The death of the VP was confirmed by the police spokesperson in the state, Ikechukwu Chukwu, who said the principal was shot dead in the school premises on Wednesday morning.

Breaking: Gunmen Kill Six Police Officers In Kenya

Authorities say six Kenyan police officers were killed and two wounded when their convoy was attacked by gunmen in central Kenya where drought and scarce grazing land is fuelling violence.

A police statement said members of the police’s Anti-Stock Theft Unit, travelling in two vehicles, were attacked by members of the Pokot ethnic group while on a “familiarisation tour” in Laikipia County.
