Acting President Yemi Osinbajo is expected to hold a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari in London tonight, Naija News can authoritatively report.

Osinbajo is expected to return back to Nigeria immediately after the meeting.

NTA Reporter Shot Dead In Benin

Lawrence Okojie, a reporter with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Benin, was allegedly shot dead by gunmen on Saturday night in Benin, Edo state capital. Okojie was reported to have been killed around Ogunola junction, off Siluko road in Benin.

Spokesman of the state police command, Moses Nkombe confirmed the report. He said one person had been arrested in connection with the incident.

Niger Delta Youth Threaten To Disrupt 2019 Elections

An organization comprising young people from the Niger Delta has said the 2019 election will not hold in the region if the country is not restructured.

In a statement issued at the end of a meeting in Port Harcourt, Rivers state capital, the youth also demanded 100% resource control.

The meeting was convened by Moses Siasia, former governorship candidate in Bayelsa state and founder of the Nigerian Young Professionals Forum.

Former FCT Minister Denies Involvement In Plans To Unseat Osinbajo

Former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Senator Bala Mohammed has totally denied allegations of been involved in any conspiracy to oust Acting President Yemi Osinbajo from power.

Reacting to reports linking him to such plot in Saudi Arabia, Mohammed said that such could only emanate from “political opportunists and agent provocateur” especially from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). He advised his detractors to “spare the nation this embarrassing conspiracy narrative that is domiciled in their party”.
