Policemen chain man to a van in Edo

A video of a man chained to a police van in Edo state has gone viral on the internet.
In the one minute, 36 seconds video clip three policemen were seen.

One Irabor Franklyn who posted it on Facebook described the action of the officers as inhuman.

Franklyn said the incident happened on Sunday. He identified the location as Sakponba road junction in the capital of Edo state.

A crowd gathered around the van which had the inscription: ‘Nigeria Police Force, Edo state command, Esigie division base 02’.

The offence of the victim is not known.

The police are yet to make an official statement on the incident.
