Senate Recalls Eight Suspended Television Station Barred From Plenary

After series of negotiations, the Nigerian senate has rescind its decision on barring of eight TV news channels, says Senate Spokesman, Sen. Sabi.

Recall that last week broadcast journalists covering the Nigerian Senate on Thursday boycotted the coverage of Senate proceedings when Clerk of the Nigerian Senate, Nelson Ayewoh barred some television stations from coverage of plenary proceedings based on allegations that the cameramen from such media are constituting themselves into a nuisance and disturbing senate activities.
