Troops, Boko Haram fighters killed during battle in Chad
Nine men of the Chadian troops have been reportedly killed in a Boko Haram attack on an army post in the Lake Chad region on Friday.
Dozens of Boko Haram members were also lost their lives as the army responded to the attack on the Kaiga Post.
The attack came hours after Abubakar Shekau, leader of Nigerian Islamist terrorist group Boko Haram, debunked claims by Nigerian Airforce that he was injured in a recent air strike on the sect.
