Femi Fani-Kayode, former Aviation Minister has expressed joy over the situation that preceded the release of acclaimed leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu from Kuje prison.

Fani-Kayode, while gibing President Muhammadu Buhari, thanked God that the president was bedridden in the run-up to Kanu’s release from detention.

“The day that Nnamdi Kanu was released from prison was the day that @MBuhari was too ill to go to the mosque. God is faithful!,” said Fani-Kayode in a tweet on Friday.

THE WHISTLER recalls that Nnamdi Kanu, who is currently facing trial for treasonable offences alongside three other pro-Biafra agitators, Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi before the Justice Nyako-led court, was on Tuesday granted bail on health grounds.

His bail condition was perfected just moments before reports filtered in that President Buhari had skipped Friday’s Juma’at prayers.
