Buhari absent at FEC meeting as Osinbajo presides
President Muhammadu Buhari is absent at today’s meeting of the Federal Executive Council.
The meeting is being presided over by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
The reason for Buhari’s absence is not made known yet.
It is not clear whether the president will later join the meeting.
This is the first time the president will be absent at the weekly FEC meeting since he returned to Nigeria from his medical vacation in London on March 10.
