See Six Senators That Worked Against Magu’s Confirmation Today
Today, the Senate rejected the choice of Ibrahim Magu as the chairman of the integrity to lead the country’s anti-corruption agency
Meanwhile there are some key players who influnced the decision of the senate to reject Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after SSS, reaffirmed its position that the nominee lacked Magu They include the following:
1. Bukola Saraki
The senate President Bukola Saraki as the head of the sitting allowed all senators to air their view but made it clear that the house was going to follow due process.

3. Senator Misau
Senator Misau really grilled Magu, he started by asking him Misau “Dasuki took money illegally and not a single person from the CBN has been investigated or prosecuted so far” Misau also proceed to question why why Central bank Governor who released money to Dasuki is not being investigated by EFCC

4. Senator Shehu Sani
Senator Shehu Sani representing Kaduna Central asked Magu about the Paris Club Fund, which is a major accusation on Magu, saying: ”You need to expantiate on your activities on human rights, what are your findings and activities on the Paris Club fund?”

5. Senator Dino Melaye
Even though Magu claimed that He been fighting corruption with Dino before he became a Senator that did not stop Dino from questioning him

Senator Biodun Olujimi represent Ekiti South wondered why Magu has resorted to prosecuting people on the pages of newspapers.
