President Buhari Will Go Back To UK In Few Weeks Time For Follow-Up Treatment

President Muhammadu Buhari has revealed that he would be returning to the UK in a few weeks for follow-up treatments for his illness.

Buhari who returned to Nigeria on Friday after two month of medical leave revealed that he needed more time to rest

in his words Buhari said:

“I deliberately came back towards the weekend so that the Vice President will continue and I will continue to rest,” Buhari said at the presidential villa. “All I need is to do further follow-ups within some weeks.”

He also revealed that he had a blood transfusion in the UK:

“I couldn’t recall when last I had a blood transfusion,” he said. About his treatment in London he added: “Blood transfusions, going to the laboratories and so on and forth.”
