Buhari calls Emir of Katsina over his mother’s death

President Muhammadu Buhari today called the Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumini Usman .

Buhari made a condolences to the Emir whose mother died on Saturday, February 25, a statement by presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina said.

President Buhari condoled with the traditional ruler, urging him to take solace in the fact that Hajia Aminatu Mai Babban Daki lived a good life, devoted to serving Allah and humanity.

“Please be comforted. May Allah accept her soul,” the president told the revered Emir on phone.

The deceased was survived by nine children, and has since been buried according to Muslim rites.

The call is coming a day after the president called all his media aides including Garba Shehu and Femi Adesina

Adesina said the president specifically thanked him for holding out against mischief makers.
