Protest in UNIOSUN over late registration fee

In the last on week Nigerian universities have been rocked with various protest.

Few days ago Federal University of Technology, Minna was closed down over violence, undergraduates of Federal University of Technology, owerri staged protests over money-related issues.

Students of Osun State University (UNIOSUN) on Thursday protested in four campuses of the university: in Osogbo, Ikire, Ejigbo and Okuku.

The undergraduates protested against the late registration fee of N10,000 which was imposed on students who failed to pay school fees within the specified time-frame.

Students shut down academic activities in the Osogbo campus in a bid to hold the school management to ransom while their colleagues in other campuses simply protested against the fee.
