Breaking: Cameroon beat Egypt 2-1 to win AFCON final

Hundreds of Cameroonians took to the streets of Douala on Thursday night to celebrate the victory of the Indomitable Lions for the 2017 AFCON

The Indomitable lions of Cameroon defeated of the Pharaohs of Egypt 2-1 on Sunday to lift the Africa Cup of Nations trophy.

In its 18 years of participating in AFCON cameroon has lifted the trophy five times in the year 1984, 1998, 2000, 2002 and now this year 2017.

This makes Cameroon the most crowned country behind Egyptian Pharaohs who have lifted the trophy six times

Recall that Indomitable lions of Cameroon had defeated Black Stars Ghana 2-0 on Thursday to reach the final of the Africa Cup of Nations.
