Sad: Gambian President-elect Adama Barrow son dies after being bitten by dog

Adama Barrowthe  president-elect of Gambia, eight-year-old son died today after he was bitten by a dog.

According to BBC, Habibu Barrow was bitten by a dog on Sunday, January 15 and passed away on the way to the hospital at Manjai near Banjul

The young boy has already been buried although his father was not there as he is in Dakar, the capital of Senegal.

Meanwhile, President Yahya Jammeh of Gambia has been denied the right to stop the inauguration of president-elect Adama Barrow on January 19, 2017. Gambia’s chief of justice, Emmanuel Fagbenle, has said he will not rule on an injunction by the ruling party, Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction (APRC), seeking to stop the inauguration Adama Barrow.
