FIFA proposes to ban Amos Adamu for two more years
Amos Adamu’s trouble might not be over yet despite been ban for three years in 2010 for getting involved in a scandal.
FIFA is looking at banning Nigerian administrator, Amos Adamu, from all football-related activities.
The world governing body’s ethics committee has been investigating him over alleged breaches of its code of ethics since March 2015.
It has now recommended a two-year ban and a fine for Adamu.
Adamu was a former FIFA executive committee member for four years, before his initial suspension for three years in 2010.
The 62-year-old was found guilty of asking for money in exchange for World Cup votes, an accusation he denied.
A final decision on his punishment may take several months to be determined.
