The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu has received support from some prominent clergymen across the country despite the party fielding a Muslim-Muslim ticket.

Naija News recalls that the APC came under heavy backlash after picking the former governor of Borno state, Kashim Shettima as the vice presidential candidate of the party.

What Are People’s Reservations Towards Tinubu And The APC

The presidential hopeful has been criticized by some groups and individuals, notably the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), for fielding a same faith ticket for the 2023 presidential election.

There have also being speculations on his health status which the APC has tagged as rumors with the intent of destroying the public image of its standard bearer.

Clerics Who Have Pledge Allegiance to Tinubu.

However, it seems that despite the same faith ticket there are clergymen who are of the belief that Tinubu will do a great job when he gets into power.

Below is a list of pastors who have and are supporting the presidential ambition of Tinubu.

Prophet Israel Oladele Ogundipe a.k.a Genesis The Senior prophet of CCC Genesis Global parish.

Some days back while addressing his congregation, Ogundipe said that he would not be proper for him not to support Tinubu as he is a Yoruba man.

Bishop Kayode Williams: The cleric had expressed a strong conviction that Tinubu is God’s choice for the 2023 presidency in a phone conversation with the Nation.

Pastor Sunday Adelaja: The Ukraine-based pastor is the founder of the Embassy of the Blessed Kingdom of God for All Nations in Kyiv, the Ukrainian capital.

In a report from Premium Times, Adelaja insisted that Tinubu is a man of vision who will move the country forward

Pastor Alamu David: He is the presiding pastor in Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Abule Egba, Lagos.

According to a statement seen by the Nation, Alamu stated that God revealed to him that Tinubu will rule the nation

Pastor John Desmond: The leader of Young Professionals of Nigeria (YPN), Pastor John Desmond, has canvassed support for Tinubu.

Desmond made the call in Umuahia, Abia State during a senstisation tour of young professionals who are members of the APC across the South East.
