Keyamo Under Fire Over Assassination Allegation Against Peter Obi

The Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, has come under fire for claiming that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, is planning to fake his assassination attempt.

Recall that Keyamo had in a statement on Monday accused Obi of planning to ridicule the All Progressives Congress (APC) by hiring some supporters dressed in the APC customised shirts to attack some of LP offices.

The spokesman of the APC Presidential Campaign Council also accused the LP candidate of circulating a hate-filled video online to soil Tinubu’s name.

Keyamo said the former Governor of Anambra State deliberately concocted the message and circulated the offensive video himself as a campaign strategy.

Following the development, Obi supporters, popularly known as ‘Obidients’ took to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter to slam the minister for accusing their candidate wrongly.

They also called for a thorough investigation into the Keyamo’s claim and how got the information that Obi was attempting to fake his assassination attempt.
