A celebration of life ceremony was held to honour Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, the late Alaafin of Oyo in Oyo state on Saturday, June 4.

This is coming after Naija News reported that the monarch died in Ekiti State.

Recall, Oba Adeyemi died at the Afe Babalola University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti and was buried shortly after.

The new video shared by one of the late king’s queens Olori Memunat Omowunmi showed the Alaafin presented at the event as he was carried by guards on a throne during the ceremony.

A glance at the video, the monarch in his statue form had many thinking it was the Alaafin in flesh.
