I'm Really Sad Fani-Kayode Joined APC - Ojudu

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Babafemi Ojudu, has reacted to the rumoured defection of former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Naija News earlier reported that the former governor had hinted in an interview about his possible return to the ruling APC.

The former Kano Senator added that he is looking at history and projecting into the future, ensuring that this country gets the best leadership in 2023.

Reacting to the news in a post on his Facebook page on Sunday, Ojudu said Kwankwaso is “most welcomed” to the APC and will be received with open arms.

Ojudu stated that Kwankwaso’s return to the APC will be the best move of his political career, adding that he would be a big addition to the party for a greater Nigeria.

The Special Adviser on Political Matters to the President described Kwankwaso as “a great mobiliser, brilliant organiser and thoroughbred politician”.

He wrote, “The news is everywhere that the leader of the Kwakwansiya Movement, His Excellency, Senator Rabiu Kwakwanso has returned to our party APC. I have not confirmed this yet but if true he is most welcomed.

“This will also be the best move of his political career. A great mobiliser, brilliant organiser, and thoroughbred politician, Kwankwaso is the leader of the red cap-wearing multitude. He will be a big addition to our movement for a greater Nigeria.
